Template:Newsubject Template:Item-infobox Double Cherries are items debuting in the Wii U game Super Mario 3D World. These cherries are found floating just above the ground or inside ? Blocks.
When a character grabs it, a clone of them will appear. This clone will keep the original character's state (e.g. Fire Mario will get a Fire Mario clone), and moves identically to them. Though Double characters can have an unlimited amount of clones, which is only based on how many Double Cherries they get, a clone will disintegrate if it is harmed, and all clones disappear when the player grabs the Goal Pole.
The clones can be used to activate certain switches and platforms.
