Hat Launchers[1][2] are objects that appear in Super Mario Odyssey. They appear as yellow-and-orange gears with blue tips that are mostly seen floating above pits. When Cappy is thrown into a Hat Launcher, he will be launched in whatever direction the Hat Launcher is facing. If multiple Hat Launchers are present in a row, a chain reaction will occur and Cappy will keep being launched until there are no more Hat Launchers. They can be used to collect faraway coins or to activate a faraway Pulse Beam.
