Arrangements
The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3
Various arrangements of "Map 1 World" can be heard throughout The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, as the show is based on Super Mario Bros. 3.
Super Mario series
Super Mario All-Stars
A 16-bit arrangement of "Map 1 World" can be heard on the Grass Land overworld map in Super Mario All-Stars' version of Super Mario Bros. 3.
The theme returns for the same purpose in Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
An arrangement of "Map 1 World" similar to one heard in Super Mario All-Stars can be heard in Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. This version was arranged by Taiju Suzuki, and it is more compressed than the Super Mario All-Stars version and uses different, lower-quality synthetic instruments.
Super Mario 64 DS
In Super Mario 64 DS, a piano arrangement of "Map 1 World" with double bass accompaniment plays in the Rec Room. It was arranged by Kenta Nagata.

Super Mario Maker
Super Mario Maker features three arrangements of "Map 1 World". The first is an ethereal arrangement played with glockenspiel, synthesizer, and bass guitar instrumentation, and it can be heard on the Course World menu. The second is a faithful arrangement played on the glockenspiel and acoustic guitar, and it can be heard on the world map of the 100 Mario Challenge on Easy and Normal difficulty. The third is a sinister synthesizer arrangement of the theme's backing chords in a minor key, and it can be heard on the world map of the 100 Mario Challenge on Expert and Super Expert difficulty.
These arrangements return for the purpose in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS.
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars features two arrangements of "Map 1 World", both arranged by Yoko Shimomura. The first, titled 「お花畑にて」 (Ohanabatake Nite, "In The Flower Garden") in the game's official soundtrack, plays in the game's opening cutscene. It is a slower, more grandiose arrangement of the theme that quickly transitions to become ominous as Bowser kidnaps Peach. This theme can also be heard at the beginning of the reveal trailer for Super Mario RPG, the game's Nintendo Switch remake.
The second arrangement can be heard in Mario's Pad and is a mashup of "Map 1 World" and the Ground Theme from Super Mario Bros. It is titled "Super Pipe House" in the game's official soundtrack.

Paper Mario series
Paper Mario
The level-up theme in Paper Mario is an arrangement of "Map 1 World" arranged by Yuka Tsujiyoko.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
An arrangement of "Map 1 World" is included in the theme that plays during cutscenes in Mario's House in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Super Smash Bros. series
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Super Smash Bros. Melee features a rock/jazz arrangement medley of "Map 1 World" and the "Ground Theme" from Super Mario Bros. 3 arranged by HAL Laboratory composer Shogo Sakai. The arrangement is simply titled "Super Mario Bros. 3". It prominently features brass, keyboard, and electric guitar in its instrumentation.
The arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, now titled "Super Mario Bros. 3 (Melee)", where it can be played on Brawl's Yoshi's Island stage; in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, now titled "Ground Theme (Super Mario Bros. 3)", where it can be played on Melee's Yoshi's Island stage and the Super Mario Maker stage; and in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features a new arrangement medley of "Map 1 World", the Super Mario Bros. 3 "Ground Theme", and the level clear jingle titled "Ground Theme - Super Mario Bros. 3" arranged by Masafumi Takada. The overall arrangement is a blend of acoustic and chiptune-inspired instrumentation. It can be played on any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
Mario & Luigi series
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the theme is arranged along with the Super Mario Bros. "Ground Theme" in the track "Mario is Everyone's Star", which itself is an arrangement of "Super Pipe House" from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It plays at the Mario Bros.' House, and it was arranged by Yoko Shimomura, the original composer of "Super Pipe House".
