The Gray Magikoopas can turn allies invisible, and appear solely in the Crystal Palace. Unlike the game's other Magikoopa colors, Gray Magikoopas are never shown riding broomsticks, though they have unused sprites for it. Like all Magikoopas, they duplicate themselves or run away if alone in battle. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, their abilities are given to Green Magikoopas.
