They are a derived fiery species of Bonehead Jeds. They ride in barrel Mine Carts and only their head and extendable neck is visible. Like Bonehead Jeds, Hothead Jeds only appear in three of the earlier Cliff levels including: Sticky Situation, Prehistoric Path, and Boulder Roller.
