The title of this article is official, but it comes from a non-English source.
If an acceptable English name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.
- Not to be confused with Chef Toad.
Chef Kinopio[1] is a yellow Toad who works at the restaurant in Overlook Tower in Paper Mario: The Origami King. He is identical to the Tangerino Grill Chef from Paper Mario: Color Splash. When Mario and Olivia first arrive at Overlook Tower, he is trapped on the second floor between two crates, worried about the state of his restaurant. After Mario defeats the Folded Soldier Mini Goombas, the chef is pleased and rewards Mario with a bag of confetti that he can use to patch up a large hole and reach the third floor.
After Overlook Tower is fully repaired, Mario can talk to Chef Kinopio in the kitchen to be rewarded with a Collectible Treasure of Chef's TRULY WILD Special (No. 28).
Chef Kinopio shares their Japanese name with Chef Toad, a character in Super Nintendo World.
