Template:Infobox Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is an upcoming expanded port of Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Switch, set to be released on February 12, 2021[1] as part of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. It will contain a new "Bowser's Fury" mode, with at least one world not seen in the original game. The game will also support local wireless and online play, both being absent from the original game.

  • The player's movement speed has been increased, thus allowing for courses to be cleared quicker.[2]
  • Character movement is no longer restricted to only eight directions.
  • Players can climb higher when in their Cat forms, compared to in the original game.[3]
  • The game has amiibo support, with Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibo figures launching alongside the game.[4]
  • Player characters are now able to roll in midair.[5]
  • The UI for lives and coins lacks the "×" icon between the image and numbers, while the shadows have been removed.[6]
