History
Super Mario 3D World
Ice Skates first appear in World 3's first stage, Snowball Park, where the player can get them after defeating the Goombas riding them. When the player is in an Ice Skate, they can skate on the ice, move quicker, and are also immune to certain enemies and spikes. However, they will not be able to stop moving, and if the player hits a wall or a Walleye, they will lose the item. The skate's original color is yellow, but it changes depending on which character is in it. Mario gains a red skate, Luigi gets a green one, Peach's ice skate is pink, Toad's is blue, and Rosalina's is cyan.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
A single gigantic Ice Skate can be seen in Sherbet Desert, a world from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is bogged down in snow at one corner of the Blizzy and Sandy battleground.
