The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors.
If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.

This article is about a subject in an upcoming or recently released game. When the game is released, or more information about this subject is found, this article may need major rewriting.
This notice should be removed after a month has passed since the game was first released.

Template:Species-infobox Maw-Rays are enormous moray eels with a similar skin pattern to Unagi. However, Maw-Rays have a far more realistic shape, as well as glowing eyes. They appear in the grotto within the Seaside Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey, where Mario must swim past several of them to get to the top of the Lighthouse in order to collect a Power Moon. They attack by lunging out of their caves at a high rate of speed before snapping their enormous jaws and receding, and can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. Before they emerge, a plume of sand can be seen coming from their caves, which appear to be blocked with sand. While out of their caves, they constantly shake violently.
