Super Mario All Stars is a compilation title for the Super Nintendo that appears in two different forms. One is the basic title, porting Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels over to the Super Nintendo with an added on-cart save feature. The other is Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World, a larger title that combines the above with Super Mario World in a single cart. The game featured new,up-to-date(at the time) graphics. The game also introduced the Poison Mushroom to the Mario series. The games were released in 1992.
All in all, either copy is a good investment. The games remain interesting and enjoyable, and the save feature is very useful.
