Template:Species-infobox Golden Piranha Plants are a golden variety of Piranha Plants appearing in New Super Mario Bros. 2 there entire body is colored golden.
History
New Super Mario Bros. 2
They appear when the player touches a Gold Ring they release coins from the pipes they are in when defeated, they can be defeated the same way like a normal Piranha Plant.
Mario Party 10
Golden Piranha Plants reappear in Mario Party 10 in the minigame Pipe Sniper where they give the player three points while regular Piranha Plants give one point.
