Template:Articleabout Template:Form-infobox Golden Statue Mario is a form of Lucky Cat Mario in Super Mario 3D World. The user transforms into this when a Ground Pound is performed.
In this form, he is a golden Maneki-neko holding a coin. Luigi's Golden Statue form is slightly different; he is raising his left paw instead of his right, unlike everyone else. Very akin to Tanooki Mario's Statue Mario, Mario is impervious to nearly all obstacles while in this form. However, Mario also earns Coins while dropping in this form, and although immobile, can defeat enemies that only Invincible Mario can. Mario cannot remain in this form indefinitely; he reverts to Lucky Cat Mario either if the player stops the ground pound, or its time limit expires. Golden Statue Mario can defeat almost all normally invincible enemies, such as Fuzzies, Fuzzlers, and Rammerheads, and defeat enemies that usually take multiple hits in one hit. However, it cannot defeat Ka-Thunks or Charvaarghs. Template:BoxTop Template:Mario's Transformations
