Snowball Park, otherwise known as World 3-1, is the first course of World 3 in Super Mario 3D World. This level consists mostly of snow and ice terrain. Since it is the first level of the world, there are no unlocking criteria besides unlocking the world itself.
Layout
The level starts in a snowy area with some Snow Pokeys nearby. After avoiding some more Snow Pokeys, a squadron of Para-Biddybuds, and a Goomba in an Ice Skate which the player can choose to ride in, they reach the Checkpoint Flag. An icy area with Goombas in Ice Skates follows, followed by some more enemies and icy walkways. The player can now enter a nearby pipe in order to get to an area containing some trees and the Goal Pole.
Green Stars
- Green Star 1: In a hole in a wall guarded by nine Biddybuds.
- Green Star 2: A small Rabbit contains this Green Star.
- Green Star 3: Just before the pipe that leads to the end of the level, the player should climb the tree and use Tanooki Mario or a Propeller Box to fly over to the Green Star that is in the wall.
