Motley Bossblob makes his first appearance as the second boss of World 6. In this boss-only course, Motley Bossblob gathers large gelationous blobs to transform himself into a large monster. The player must defeat him by using the Double Cherry to attack the boss when he is defenseless. After three hits, Motley Bossblob is defeated and the Warp Box to the Goal Pole is revealed. Double Cherry is seen along with blobs when he gets defenseless.
Motley Bossblob reappears in World Bowser-A: Motley Bossblob's Encore and World Flower-12: Boss Blitz with a similar strategy.
