Template:Character-infobox Plessie is a orange dinosaur-like creature that will make its debut in Super Mario 3D World. Not much is known about it at this time, although it will first appear in World 1-4: Sea Serpent Ride, where Mario (and company) will ride it to the finish. It largely resembles Yoshi, and may even be a member of his species. It also resembles Dorrie, another dinosaur-like creature who the player rides through water in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS.

- The name "Plessie" is a reference to Plesiosaur, a dinosaur species.
- Its name is also similar to Nessie, the nickname given to the Loch Ness Monster.
