This mini-game is similar to Desert Dash from the previous game but basically with some more obstacles. Teams have to both alternately press left and right at the same time. Little lava balls can jump out of the lava and go to the other lava pool, attempting to burn one of the teams to slow the teams down. There is also a Thwomp in this mini-game, which would get in the way or even squash a team. If any one of the players in the team moves incorrectly, the team will fall down, stunned for at least a moment. The team who reaches the end wins.
This minigame does not appear in the Mini-Game Coaster, along with Rainbow Run; however, once unlocked, it may appear on the regular minigame roulette, unlike Rainbow Run.

Dungeon Dash is a 2-vs-2 minigame found in Mario Party 2 and Mario Party Superstars. In Mario Party 2, it is a bonus minigame, unlocked once the player buys 35 minigames from Woody.

Gameplay[edit]

Teams have to both alternately press left and right at the same time. Small fireballs can jump out of the lava and go to the other lava pool, attempting to burn one of the teams to slow it down. There are also two Thwomps that attempt to squash a team. If any one of the players on the team moves incorrectly, the team falls down and gets stunned for a moment. If a human player is partnered with a CPU, they are always in sync. The team that reaches the end first wins. If neither team reaches the end within a certain time limit, the minigame ends in a draw.

This minigame does not appear in the Mini-Game Coaster, along with Rainbow Run; however, once unlocked, it may appear on the regular minigame roulette, unlike Rainbow Run.

In Mario Party Superstars, the Thwomps use the sound effect used for Whomps.
