Hammer Slammer is an Item minigame in Mario Party 2 and Mario Party Superstars. It is untitled in the latter.
Overview[edit]
The minigame plays like a strength tester as the player uses a hammer to hit the target, moving the point to an item, depending on how hard the player hits. If the player either selects Baby Bowser (Bowser Jr. in Mario Party Superstars), including from hitting too hard, or they do not perform any action, causing the pointer to fall off, the player earns nothing. In Mario Party Superstars, if player hits the target too hard, the pointer hits the character before exploding, stunning them.
The minigame takes place in Space Land in Mario Party 2, where it also costs 500 coins to buy from Woody.
