The longer the players stay in the minigame, the faster the colored mushrooms sink down as Toad keeps changing his flag. The last player standing wins the minigame.

Mushroom Mix-Up is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars.

Overview[edit]

The gameplay involves players staying on the same-colored Mushroom Platforms as Toad's flag, then the other Mushroom Platforms slowly sink.[1][2] The speed increases as the minigame progresses. Players can ground-pound their opponents to stun them temporarily. A Blooper takes away anyone who fall into the water, removing that player from the minigame. The last player remaining wins, but if all players fall into the water, the end results is a draw.
