Duck Hunt is a microgame in 18-Volt's stage in WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It reappears in WarioWare Gold, where it is one of 9-Volt's microgames. It is based on the Family Computer and NES game, Duck Hunt.

Gameplay[edit]

Just like the real game, the objective is to shoot the ducks, but only three are needed. The player must point the Wii Remote at a duck and press A Button to shoot. If the player does not shoot all the ducks, they will lose.

In WarioWare Gold, the mechanics have been changed. The number of ducks is variable based on the current level. More importantly, missing a duck at any point locks the controls and lets any remaining ducks fly away, instantly failing the microgame. Aside from that, the game is now normal-length.

WarioWare Gold difficulty levels[edit]

  • 1st level difficulty: There is one duck.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are two ducks.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are two ducks which appear from different parts of the screen.
