The Ancient Tires (known as the Ancient Tyres in British English versions) are tires introduced in version 1.6.0 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. They are the signature tires of Champion's Tunic Link, and are based on the tires of the Master Cycle Zero in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, albeit without the spokes. Their high stats are weight and traction, and their low stats are acceleration and handling. They share their stats with the Monster and Hot Monster tires.

A CPU-controlled Champion's Tunic Link will occasionally use these tires along with the Master Cycle Zero and Paraglider.
