Jumping Fire Piranha Plants[1] are a fire-breathing type of Jumping Piranha Plant that appears only in Super Mario World. Jumping Fire Piranha Plants are introduced in Cookie Mountain and the Special Zone. They mainly appear in the level Outrageous. A lone Jumping Fire Piranha Plant is also found in the level Groovy, and another one is found in Funky. Jumping Fire Piranha Plants behave a lot like Jumping Piranha Plants, except they also spit fireballs on both sides of them like Volcano Lotuses, though a Jumping Fire Piranha Plant spits only two fireballs at once rather than four and they fall downwards in an arc. Jumping Fire Piranha Plants are rare as there are only seven of them that appear in the entire game.
Like with other Piranha Plants, Jumping Fire Piranha Plants' heads turn into jack-o'-lanterns after the player beats Funky in the original game or completes all 96 exits in the Game Boy Advance version.
While Jumping Fire Piranha Plant's do not reappear in Paper Mario: The Origami King, regular Jumping Piranha Plant can spit fireballs just like them
