A big Rammerhead from Super Mario 3D World.
First appearance Super Mario 3D World (2013)

Rammerheads are enemies that appear in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Their name is a portmanteau of "hammerhead", a species of shark which they resemble, and "ram". They are somewhat rare and only appear in three levels: Rammerhead Reef, Captain Toad Makes a Splash, and Pipeline Boom Lagoon.

Rammerheads are hammerhead shark-like fish with wide, spiked, roll-shaped snouts. They are either purple or pink and come in two sizes: the big ones are common, while the small ones, also known as Small Rammerheads,[1] are rare. These enemies have three types of movement patterns: some swim in a predetermined pattern, some swim around stones, and others jump out of the water. The spiked portion of a Rammerhead's head causes damage, while the rest of its body is harmless. Rammerheads can only be defeated by Invincibility or by Ground Pounding on them in the Lucky Cat form.

Cat Rammerheads also appear in Lake Lapcat in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury on the path between Clawswipe Colosseum and Trickity Tower. They are functionally identical to their standard counterparts, but appear with fur, cat ears, and a cat tail. When jumping out of the water, their eyes look at Mario's position.
