The Azure Roller tires in Mario Kart 8
Strong stats Acceleration, Handling (MK8, MK8D)
Weak stats Speed, Weight, Traction (MK8, MK8D)
Appears in Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Kart Tour

The Azure Roller tires are an unlockable set of tires that first appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. They are statistically identical to the Roller, Button, and Leaf Tires; they offer a high acceleration boost and a handling boost at the cost of mitigating speed, weight, and traction. The only difference between the Roller and Azure Roller is the azure palette and the gray screw-like rims (resembling the rims of the Roller tires in Mario Kart 7), surrounded by a yellow outline.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Azure Roller tires have received slightly different stats which they now exclusively share with the Roller tires. They no longer boost air speed, and their acceleration and Mini-Turbo stats are slightly lower as well. CPU Toadette occasionally uses these tires whenever she is using the Mr. Scooty.

While the original Azure Roller tires do not return in Mario Kart Tour, dark blue variants with a different appearance are used by the Karp Kart and Festival Girl. Pastel versions are used by the Bright Girl.
