A Cat Wheel[1] is an object in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Cat Wheels resemble ships' wheels but with a cat paw icon tacked on each, similarly to the Tail Wheels in Super Mario 3D Land. Cat Wheel first appear in Mount Beanpole, and they can be spun only by Cat Mario via scratching them. When a Cat Wheel is spun, a number of things may happen, such as a platform rising or a secret area opening. Later, a Cat Wheel is used to collect the final Green Star in Chain-Link Charge. Cat Wheels also appear in the Bowser's Fury campaign, where they are used to extend rising pillars in the Lakeside and Wasteland regions, allowing Cat Mario to collect the "Climb to the Shine" and "Spin, Scramble, Shine" Cat Shines, respectively.
