The rally starts with a wide left turn.<!--note Yoshi's--> The track gradually straightens out, then turns to the right and back to the left. There is a slight right turn, and the road narrows and goes uphill. A straight segment with a hill goes through a canyon. It opens up to a wide area where a building<!--name Yoshi's--> to the side has an item. There is then a sequence of three S-bends to the left in a row, of which the first one is slight and the latter two are larger. Turning left once more leads to a section with three of a variant of Bramballs that function as rings. This section is mostly straight but has a slight left turn in the middle. There are then turns to to the right and the left and to the right again. There is a short straightaway before the path joins into Mario Bros. Circuit, where the first checkpoint is.

The race continues with Mario Bros. Circuit driven in reverse, until the point where the U-turn at the beginning of the course is, where the road is redirected with a left turn. There is then a turn to the right into a straight segment, then a turn which starts going to the right, but ultimately goes to the left.

The icon for the Golden Rally in Mario Kart World.

The Golden Rally is the first rally in Mario Kart World, represented by a Golden Dash Mushroom. It goes northeast starting from the desert section, then north to the northernmost course Acorn Heights as its final course.

A Golden Dash Mushroom has been used previously as the emblem of the Golden Dash Cup in the Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Course layout

The rally starts with a wide left turn. The track gradually straightens out, then turns to the right and back to the left. There is a slight right turn, and the road narrows and goes uphill. A straight segment with a hill goes through a canyon. It opens up to a wide area where a building to the side has an item.
