The mysterious sprout,[1] also referred to as the green plant,[2] is an interactive flower in Super Mario Odyssey. It appears only in the Deep Woods of the Wooded Kingdom. The plant can be encountered growing with two leaves in a spring next to coins that cannot be collected. When Mario captures a Coin Coffer and uses it to shoot coins into the plant, it starts to slowly grow until it produces a fruit that contains the "A Treasure Made from Coins" Power Moon. While coins are shot at it, it produces yellow particles around itself. After producing a fruit, the mysterious sprout cannot grow further. In total, it requires 500 coins.
