The Donkey Kong Board Game is a Japan-exclusive board game published by Takara and released in 1999.[1] The board game is based on the Donkey Kong Country television series, featuring various screenshots from the game, and can be played by two to five people[1] using the follow character pieces: Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, and Funky Kong; all of whom use their redesigns from the show. The objective of the game is to collect bananas, buy cards, and battle King K. Rool to save Kongo Bongo Island.[1]
