The Donkey Kong Board Game is a Japan-exclusive board game published by Takara and released in 1999.[1] The board game is based on the Donkey Kong Country television series, with the board including various screenshots from the The game can be played by 2 to 5 people,[1] in which the board game includes five character pieces; Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, and Funky Kong. All the characters use their redesigns from the show. The objective of the game is to collect bananas, buy cards, and battle King K. Rool to save Kongo Bongo Island.[1]
