In the cellar of Chateau Koopula is a storage room containing tomato sauce and laundry; beneath this cellar is a sub-basement where Count Koopula's [[Goomba (zombie)|zombiefied Goomba]] minions create tomato sauce. A torture chamber, referred to as "Count Koopula's Torture Chamber, Wax Museum, and Dungeon of Horrors" (a reference to the 1960 horror comedy film ''{{wp|The Little Shop of Horrors}}''), is also located in the castle, having devices such as a stretching rack, tickling machine, and a faucet that continuously pours water in the face of a victim.
