The Super Spy Hose Nozzle is a tool appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service", appearing as some sort of grappling hook. It can be loaded with miniature plungers, and, once loaded, can be fired to launch the plunger onto a flat surface, causing it to stick to the surface. A rope is also attached to the plunger, and the user can climb up or across the rope to reach otherwise inaccesible areas.
During the episode, when Mario and Luigi finds themselves between a Goomba and Spark quickly heading towards them in the Tunnel of Doom, Mario pulls out his Super Spy Hose Nozzle and a miniature plunger he has in his overalls. After loading the nozzle with the plunger, he fires it towards a stone ceiling above him and Luigi, creating a rope for them to climb. Mario and Luigi climb the rope, narrowly escaping the Goomba and Spark as they crash into each other and explode and allowing to re-enter Koopfinger's hideout.
