Whistle Snifits are variants of Snifits that first appear in Paper Mario: Color Splash. They will blow a whistle to call in more enemies such as Paragoombas, Spikes, and Hammer Bros. during battle. They come in red, blue, green, and yellow. The red and blue Whistle Snifits are only found in Fort Cobalt, green Whistle Snifits appear in both Fort Cobalt and Mustard Café, and the yellow Whistle Snifit only found in Mustard Café. Whistle Snifits attack by shooting three bullets at Mario.

Two pink Whistle Snifits appear in Paper Mario: The Origami King. In a café at Spring of Rainbows, when Mario orders the "special," the two Snifits briefly blow their whistles in excitement as Birdo descends and blows a heart into Mario's coffee cup. During the credits, a photo of Bowser Jr. and Bowser soaking in the Spring of Sanctuary shows a red Whistle Snifit commanding repairs to Bowser's Castle in the background.
