Letters are objects that appear in Super Mario Odyssey. They are made up of a red M, a green A, a yellow R, a blue I, and a pink O that use the modern Super Mario font. They have black question mark pins on them, meaning they can be captured. They appear post-game in a park in the Metro Kingdom, where Mario must capture each of the Letters and move them into slots to spell "MARIO". Once complete, the pins disappear and a Power Moon titled "Mario Signs His Name" appears. The player can press and hold and to dash and shake to dash faster while in this form. Letters are unable to jump, and invisible boundaries prevent them from leaving the park.

There is a glitch in the game that allows the player to take Letters outside the park.
