Armored Goombas are enemies in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, first appearing in the Beacon Beach battle The Goomba with the Pot on its Head, and commonly appear in Terra Flora. They are normal Goombas wearing a cooking pot infused with Darkmess on their head, making them immune to any type of attack, except for the Dash, after which they will flip, but they will still be immune to any attacks; the only way to defeat them is by tossing them out of the battleground bounds. They still take the effects of all Super Effects, although they take no damage from them. The Ooze Super Effect does not hurt them, but they can still spread it to other characters.

Goombas are even more menacing under Cursa's supervision! Thankfully, they are still Goombas - a single dash can hit multiples of them.
Yet Cursa's cunning is always present - some of them wear Darkmess-infused cooking pots that make them immune to weapons or physical attacks. Only by launching them outside the boundaries of the battlefield can they be defeated.
