Snaps are enemies appearing in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are basic orange crabs. Snaps first appear in the Beach area, the third level of the Ruins area, Mast Blast, and later in the Cliff area. Snaps move from side to side and can only hurt Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong if they come in contact with one. They also have the tendency to chase the Kongs, meaning that they'll change direction the instant the Kongs jump over one.
