Many submarines are in Mario Kart 8. They appear in the course Water Park, which they are more submarine looking, and are controlled by Nokis. Also a stamp can be unlocked in the game.

Appearance
The Marine Pop from Super Mario Land has an unknown color, as the game doesn't give out color; just black and white. In New Super Mario Bros. U & New Super Luigi U, Bowser Jr.'s Koopa Clown Car holds the same as the clown car, but has an additional air tank or hood. However, in Mario Kart 8, they look just like real submarines, running on tiny wheels and controlled by Noki's.

Trivia
*Super Mario Land & Mario Kart 8 are the only games featuring a real submarine.

This article is about the submersible In Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. For the transformation of Yoshis after touching a Morph Bubble, see Submarine Yoshi.
Not to be confused with Subwarine.
Stamp of a Submarine, from Mario Kart 8.
The submarine stamp from Mario Kart 8

Submarines[1][2] appear in the Sub Coaster attraction of Water Park in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, where they are controlled by Nokis. Touching the wheels, which function as Spin Boost Pillars, underneath it causes the player to receive a Spin Boost. A submarine is seen approaching the player when they first enter in the water. After passing by the player, there is a gate behind them that opens when the submarine approaches it. There is also one to the player's right at the end of the loop. If the player tries to enter the gate, Lakitu will pull them back onto the track. The submarine retracts its wheels when entering the gate and pulls them out when exiting it.
