A Fire Lamp is a switch found in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. It is a lamp-like switch only activated by Mario's Firebrand. A few examples are from Oho Oasis. Mario had to ignite the lamp to shrink away an obstacle coral. There was also a puzzle in which a switch must be hit with the hammer to make 5 fire lamps light up in an order. Mario must then relight them in the same order. Fire lamps are highly similar to lightning orbs, which react the same way to Luigi's thunderhand. These are much more common.

Mario about to light up a Torch

A Torch[1] is an object in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its 3DS remake. It is a lamp-like switch activated only by Mario's Firebrand. Torches act as a counterpart to conductors, which react the same way to Luigi's Thunderhand. These Torches are much more common than the conductors, however.
