Shelves[1] are solid objects that appear only in the second section of Shifty Boo Mansion in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. When a player stands on a shelf, it either retracts into the wall or extends out of it permanently until the level is reloaded. One of the shelves (the one that retracts to the left) on the left side of the room contains a Green Star behind it.
