"Super Mario Kart"[1] is the title theme from Super Mario Kart that has become a recurring motif throughout the Mario Kart series. It was composed by Soyo Oka and has been a part of the title screen music of every mainline Mario Kart game.

Mario Kart 64
The title screen theme of Mario Kart 64, titled "Mario Kart 64 Theme" in the game's official soundtrack, mainly consists of an elongated arrangement of the first half of the Super Mario Kart theme and was arranged by Kenta Nagata.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit
The title screen theme of Mario Kart: Super Circuit is also an elongated arrangement of the "Super Mario Kart" theme, and includes the second half of the theme. Another arrangement plays during the Single Game Pak multiplayer.

Mario Kart 8
The title screen theme of Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (titled after the base game in the official soundtrack) includes an arrangement of the "Super Mario Kart" theme and was arranged by Atsuko Asahi. An arrangement of a few notes from the theme briefly plays during the "Staff Credits" theme, arranged by Ryo Nagamatsu.
This arrangement returns in Paper Mario: Color Splash, including the excerpt from Super Mario Kart. It can be heard when Luigi appears in his kart before he drives Mario and Huey on Rainbow Road to Black Bowser's Castle.
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix features a disco arrangement of the Mario Kart 64 version of "Super Mario Kart" as a playable song.
