Searchlights, also known as roaming searchlights,[1] are stage elements that appear in the stage Searchlight Sneak in Super Mario 3D World. In this stage, Cat Bullet Bills can only fire if the player stands in a searchlight. Searchlights can move, but if the player stands in a searchlight, a Bowser's symbol will appear, and a searchlight will stop moving until it no longer points at the player. Cat Bullet Bills can still track the player if the player left the searchlight.
