Plessie Medal
A Plessie Medal in Bowser's Fury.

A Plessie Medal after its related mission has been completed in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
First appearance Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (2021)

Plessie Medals are large collectable medals in the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. They are purple with golden outlines and a golden image of Plessie's head on the front taken from its Stamp artwork.

Plessie Medals appear in the water across Lake Lapcat after the main story of the campaign is completed. If the player collects one of them, it activates a short timer challenge that causes another Plessie Medal to appear nearby, outlining the path it takes from the first one. The player must use Plessie to swim towards each consecutive Plessie Medal until five are collected. A Cat Shine then appears nearby, and collecting it ends the respective mission. Each Plessie Medal that appears after the first in a set has been collected will disappear if it is not collected in a short time. If this occurs, the player must return to the first Plessie Medal to retry the challenge. After its corresponding Cat Shine has been collected, a Plessie Medal will turn gray. However, its challenge can still be accessed, and it functions identically to before.

Model of a Plessie Medal from Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

Each Plessie Medal is located in front of a small dock where Plessie can appear. The following Cat Shines can be collected after collecting a Plessie Medal:

Plessie Medals resemble Dragon Coins in appearance, with a reptile character's face on an oblong oval shape. Notably, just as there are five Plessie Medals to be collected during each related mission, there are five Dragon Coins in most levels of Super Mario World.
