Appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (version 1.6.0)

The Ancient Tires (known as the Ancient Tyres in British English versions) are tires included in version 1.6.0 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is the signature tire of Champion's Tunic Link, and it resembles the tires from the Master Cycle Zero in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, minus the spokes. Their high stats are weight and traction, and their low stats are acceleration and handling. They share their stats with the Monster and Hot Monster tires.

A CPU-controlled Champion's Tunic Link will occasionally use these tires paired with the Master Cycle Zero and Paraglider.
