- Not to be confused with Toad Force V.
The Rescue Squad V is a squad consisting of several Toads. They are prominently featured in Paper Mario: Color Splash, and star in their very own show, Rescue V: Fearless Color Defenders. Each of the five members' purpose is to aid Mario in overcoming obstacles that he could otherwise not pass.
The Rescue Squad V could be a reference to the Power Rangers, hence their names. They could also be a reference to the Koopa Bros. from the same series, baring the same color scheme albeit not counting purple.
