Template:Articleabout Template:Species-infobox Gold Bowser Statues are statues of Bowser that first appeared in Super Mario World. Instead of shooting fireballs they jump toward Mario or Luigi, and, unlike the gray statues, the gold ones can damage the brothers by direct contact. The only way to defeat it is to lure it into a lava pit. Their immobile counterparts are the Gray Bowser Statues.
These statues appear again in Mario Party 6 minigame Seer Terror. One of the fortunes that can happen to a character gets crushed by a Gold Bowser Statue.
A large, flaming Gold Bowser Statue appears in the anti-gravity zone of Bowser's Castle in Mario Kart 8, attempting to punch drivers on both sides of it.
