Bound Fires are jumping flames that so far have only appeared in Super Mario World, in the level Outrageous. They appear to be a subspecies of Fire Snake, and were mistakenly listed as being the same in the English players' guide. Bound Fires can be eaten by Yoshi, and destroyed with a Cape or a Star. They can also be safely bounced on with a Spin Jump. When attacking, they leave small fires in their wake.
