Parabomb
Para-bombs are Bob-ombs with parachutes. They descend slowly from the sky, and once they land, they act like normal Bob-ombs. They appear in Super Mario World, Super Princess Peach (here known as Parabombs), New Super Mario Bros., New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Hotel Mario (here known as Para Bob-ombs). In New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario 64 DS, there's a mini-game where Para-bombs must be blown-up before they hit a guarded flower. In Super Princess Peach, there is a sub-species of Para-bomb named Glad Parabomb.
They are just like Paragoombas or Koopa Paratroopas, except in most versions where they appear, they don't have any wings, and they don't appear in a lot of Mario games.
In Hotel Mario, Para-bombs had wings and could crash into enemies from above. They are similar to the Para-bombs from Super Mario World, except for the fact that they could follow Mario and Luigi while falling. If they hit a door, the door would close, making Mario and Luigi's task harder.
Para Bob-ombs appeared in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. when Mario and his Partner were shot out of the cannon In the Fahr Outpost the hatch that held the Bob-ombs opened up and released the Bob-ombs. They came down slowly using parachutes.
Para Bob-ombs are set to appear in Paper Mario for the Nintendo 3DS. They appear in a mountain place falling from the sky.
