World 7-4 is the fourth and final level of World 7 in Super Mario Bros. Special.
Layout
The level is a maze of many Warp Pipes, with only select pipes leading to progress. The level starts on a room with two pipes both containing Piranha Plants. After this is an elevated Warp Pipe on a brick platform containing a Piranha Plant, which can be reached by a staircase of two Hidden Blocks, to the right of a pit of Lava containing a Podoboo. This pipe leads to another pipe further into the section, and ultimately to the next section of the level. In the next section is another high-up Warp Pipe with a Piranha Plant, which can only be reached by climbing the ceiling from the past room, beside another lava pit containing a Podoboo. Beyond this is a pair of ? Blocks, one of which houses a powerup, and a hallway with a chamber that is blocked from below by two Hidden Blocks, and can only be reached via the pipe next to the first pit of lava. By re-entering this pipe, Mario will progress to the next portion of the stage. Otherwise, if Mario continues forward, there is a deep lava pit containing three Podoboos, followed by a short hallway leading to a Warp Pipe with another Piranha Plant in it. By entering any of the pipes not involved in progressing to the next section, Mario is taken to a symmetrical chamber with two Warp Pipes containing Piranha Plants, two pits of lava with Podoboos inside them, and a small brick platform in the center; both pipes in this room lead to the very first pipe in the initial section.
After successfully entering the correct pipes, Mario emerges into another section, this one also opening with two Warp Pipes containing Piranha Plants, in a much more open area. If Mario enters any pipe except for the last one, he will progress to the final section; otherwise, Mario will simply emerge from the leftmost pipe in this section. Past these two warp pipes is a pipe on the ceiling with a Piranha Plant, and another pit of lava featuring a Podoboo. To the right is another elevated Warp Pipe on a brick platform containing a Piranha Plant, beside two Green Koopa Paratroopas inside a narrow hallway. After this hallway is a staircase protected by Icicles and Fireballs, which lead to a chamber featuring a Warp Pipe that leads to the start of the section.
After the previous section is one final chamber, featuring two lava pits with Podoboos, with a platform above the second pit with a long Fire-Bar in the middle of it. Across this is the bridge with Bowser, with Brick Blocks above the left side and a second Fire-Bar towards the left side of the bridge itself. At the end of the bridge is the Ax, which collapses the bridge and leads to the Mushroom Retainer at the end of the level.

Notes
- In the second section of the level, the Piranha Plant next to the Green Koopa Paratroopa is bugged, and erroneously rises and falls from the left rim of the pipe, rather than the center of it. In addition, if the Piranha Plants in the previous room are not defeated with a Fire Flower, it may fail to spawn in due to a glitch.
