World 6-2 is the second level of World 6 in Super Mario Bros. Special. It is an overworld stage set at night, with many Warp Pipes and secret areas.
Layout
The level begins with a Warp Pipe containing a Piranha Plant, which Mario can enter to access the first of four secret areas. Throughout the level, there are four hidden areas within the many Pipes in the level. After the first pipe is a row of Brick Blocks, a Buzzy Beetle, and another pipe with a Piranha Plant. Past this is another Pipe with a Piranha Plant, which Mario will exit from if he entered the first or fourth secret areas. Past this are two more Buzzy Beetles, and another Warp Pipe with a Piranha Plant, leading to the second secret area. To the right are an arrangement of a Buzzy Beetle, two pipes with different heights with Piranha Plants inside them, and another Buzzy Beetle, before three more pipes with Piranha Plants inside them. After this is an arrangement of four pipes with Piranha Plants inside of them, three of which are on Hard Blocks, surrounding a ? Block which contains a powerup. The top left pipe is a Warp Pipe, leading to the third secret area. Past this are two more Buzzy Beetles, a tall Pipe stood atop Hard Blocks with a Piranha Plant inside, and a row of five Pipes with the leftmost, rightmost, and middle pipes containing Piranha Plants, and the middle pipe is the exit for the second secret area. Past this are two ? Blocks, one containing a powerup and another containing a Coin, next to two pipes that are atop floating Hard Blocks and both containing Piranha Plants. After a large pit is a staircase made of pipes, with four Barrels on top of it. The rightmost pipe is a warp pipe leading to the fourth secret area. Beyond the staircase is a pit leading to the flagpole.
All of the secret areas contain Coins, and have different aesthetics. The first secret area is underground, with symmetrical bumps of ground blocks with eleven coins above them. The second secret area is underground and underwater, with symmetrical hard blocks with eleven coins above them. The third secret area is in an open aboveground area at night, with fourteen coins on the ground and ten Hidden Blocks containing coins. The fourth secret area is underwater, contains a symmetrical arrangement of Coral, and has eleven coins.
