Rabbid Peach is a Rabbid dressed as Princess Peach, who first appears as one of the eight main heroes in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. She was created when Spawny used the SupaMerge to fuse a Rabbid with a Princess Peach wig and a phone. In Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Rabbid Peach teams up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Luigi, and Rabbid Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from Rabbid-fused enemies and Bowser Jr.'s attempted takeover. In the game, she has poor offense, exceptional defense, and average mobility.

Rabbid Peach's primary weapon is the Blaster, a mid-range gun-like weapon that deals exceptional damage; her secondary weapon is the Sentry, a deployable unit that explodes on enemies upon contact and soaks up damage from "line-of-sight" techniques. Rabbid Peach has a unique dash known as the "Stylish Dash", which can hit multiple times (the maximum number being 4). Rabbid Peach has two special abilities: Shield, and Heal. The former reduces all movement and weapon damage by a certain percentage, while the latter heals a percentage of Rabbid Peach's, and her allies' health (with the maximum being 70%). Her Shield ability can also be used with Princess Peach's Protection ability to reduce damage from enemies greatly.

Rabbid Peach returns in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope as one of the nine playable characters. She now wields the Triple-Troll, a blaster-like weapon that shoots three missiles at once. They can find their way behind or even destroy many covers. The Triple-Troll also apparently has a mount for her smartphone. Her technique is the same as the previous game, Heal. However, with skill points, she can learn Healing Jump, a skill Peach had in the first game. She is also now voiced by Kaycie Chase.[2] She speaks in a stereotypical valley girl accent.

Rabbid Peach is the only character to appear in every DLC pack for both games.

History

Mario + Rabbids series

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Rabbid Peach created by the SupaMerge in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Rabbid Peach accidentally created by Spawny

Rabbid Peach was created by Spawny, when the Rabbids were causing chaos in the Genius Girl's basement. When Spawny put on the SupaMerge Headset, it caused a beam of energy to shoot out, hitting a Rabbid wearing a wig and holding a phone, thus creating Rabbid Peach. When the Rabbids found their way into the Mushroom Kingdom, Rabbid Peach fell into a bush, and met Mario, Beep-0, and Rabbid Luigi. She then joins forces with her new friends to save the Mushroom Kingdom.

While traveling through the Ancient Gardens, the heroes stumble across Pirabbid Plant, and defeat it in battle. Rabbid Peach then takes some selfies, just as Pirabbid Plant gets back up. It then grabs her and slams her to the ground many times. Mario and Rabbid Luigi then defeat Pirabbid Plant, unmerging them into a Rabbid and Piranha Plant, as well as rescuing Luigi in the process. After the battle against Rabbid Kong, Rabbid Peach teasingly knocks down the tower Rabbid Kong is hanging on, sending him into a free fall. Rabbid Peach then takes multiple selfies as he is falling. She and Rabbid Luigi look at the pictures and laugh, but Rabbid Peach will not show the pictures to Luigi.

In Sherbet Desert, the heroes track down Bowser Jr., who has taken Spawny. Before the battle against the Icicle Golem, Rabbid Peach shows jealousy of Princess Peach, causing Mario to get annoyed. They still stand together and take down Icicle Golem.

In Spooky Trails, the heroes continue to track down Bowser Jr., and defeat the Phantom. Before the battle starts, Rabbid Peach laughs at Mario at how he is portrayed by the Phantom.

After defeating the Megabug at the Lava Pit, the heroes return to the Mushroom Kingdom, and they unveil a statue of Rabbid Peach, causing her to be happy. She then takes a victory selfie with all of the heroes in it, including Beep-0.

Donkey Kong Adventure

After Rabbid Kong's defeat, he tries to enter the Time Washing Machine, which he attacks after he gets shocked by it. This causes the Machine to vacuum Rabbid Kong as well as two other Rabbids inside, and scares Spawny into activating the SupaMerge, shooting energy into the machine. Rabbid Peach, unbeknownst of the situation, tries to plug in her phone into the Time Washing Machine, which is at low battery. Beep-0 tries to stop her, but after Rabbid Peach plugs her phone in, it causes her, Beep-0, and the Time Washing Machine to be sent into another dimension.

Landing on an island, Rabbid Peach and Beep-0 meet Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky, who help them look for the Time Washing Machine, which has landed elsewhere. They find Rabbid Kong, who is angry at Rabbid Peach for knocking down the tower he was on earlier. Rabbid Kong then attacks Rabbid Peach with a punch, sending her into the ground. The heroes then must reach Rabbid Kong's hideout, where the Time Washing Machine is.

After acquiring two keys from Side Eye and Finn, the group travels into a jungle temple, and defeat Mega Rabbid Kong, but they fall into the dungeon below. The group escapes the dungeon, and defeat Mega Rabbid Kong for good. Rabbid Peach then shows mercy to Rabbid Kong, who is reformed, and helps return the Time Washing Machine back to banana Lagoon. They all then take a victory selfie together.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Rabbid Peach returns in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. At Peach's Castle, her and Mario must find Rabbid Mario's overalls, which were hidden by Rabbid Luigi. The Darkmess Manta then arrives and captures Rabbid Peach. Mario, Beep-0, and Starburst rescue her, and escape from the Darkmess Manta, as well as Cursa. Rabbid Peach helps the heroes throughout the journey, and first shows jealousy towards Edge upon meeting her.

After Cursa is defeated, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Mario, and Rabbid Luigi try to play with Bowser, but he breathes a fireball, launching them all off, and worrying Mario.

The Last Spark Hunter

In The Last Spark Hunter DLC, Rabbid Peach joins the other heroes on their mission to save the Melodic Gardens after learning it has gone silent. When the group encounters the boat, Rabbid Peach makes a snarky comment about it, asking where the wakeboard tower is. After the Melodic Gardens are saved, Rabbid Peach dances with Mario.

Rayman in the Phantom Show

In the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Mario and Beep-0 ally with Rayman to save all of the sets at the Space Opera Network from Darkmess. While exploring the Pirate Set, Rabbid Peach dubs herself "Admiral R. Peach". When Darkmess appears on the pirate ship prop, she tells Rabbid Mario and Rayman to "get Kraken". After all sets have been saved, the group defeat the Phantom after his betrayal. Before Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Mario and Beep-0 return to the Mushroom Kingdom, Rabbid Peach gives a Rayman a gift. In a photo after the credits, Rabbid Peach, along with the other heroes (except Bowser) see Mario holding Rayman's gift - a copy of his hoodie.

Just Dance series

Rabbid Peach appears in an alternate version of the song "Naughty Girl" by Beyoncé in Just Dance 2018 for the Nintendo Switch. The background during this version of the song depicts the hub world of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. This version of the song was exclusive to the "Just Dance Unlimited" subscription service prior to the closure of the service in Just Dance 2018 on July 3, 2023. The version also appears in the Chinese version of Just Dance 2020 on its version of "Just Dance Unlimited", and an avatar of Rabbid Peach appears in the Wii and Xbox 360 versions of Just Dance 2019, where it can be unlocked at the start if saved data from past games is present.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rabbid Peach appears as a shield strength primary spirit. The spirit battle takes place on 3D Land against Peach under the effects of the Bunny Hood.

Personality

While she was still a normal Rabbid, Rabbid Peach exhibited traits of a typical Rabbid; curious, wild, chaotic, and mischievous. All of that changed when she was zapped by the SupaMerge while wearing a Princess Peach wig while holding a cellphone.

Unlike Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Luigi, and Rabbid Yoshi, Rabbid Peach can sometimes be bossy. She is also sassy, easily bored, and fond of taking selfies.[3] She is not scared of ghosts when she goes ghost hunting with the other seven heroes. Rabbid Peach seems to have a vain side; she loves getting attention and flaunting her looks every chance she gets. This is shown on several occasions, especially when the group unveils a new statue of her at the end and shown to be the most excited out of all the heroes.

Unlike Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach can be rude and inconsiderate. When meeting her counterpart, Rabbid Peach was shown to be rude towards Peach. She expresses the same behavior when she laughs at Mario, along with the other Rabbids, during the Phantom's song, and even knocking over the support pillar to the tower that Rabbid Kong was on, despite Mario's objections. During the trailer to the DK adventure, she takes Rabbid Cranky's stick to use as a selfie stick, without asking him.

Rabbid Peach is implied to have a crush on Mario as she always tries to get his attention, and even showed jealousy towards his and Peach's relationship. Some of her hostility towards Peach steams not only from jealousy, but taking her cosplay role seriously. Her obsessions with selfies and crush on Mario can easily mirror that of archetypal modern teenage girls. She also has a fearful side, throwing a banana to Mario when she heard Rabbid Kong's roar. Despite these traits, Rabbid Peach still has a good heart, and aids her allies when they need her.

Relationships with other characters

  • Mario: Throughout Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Rabbid Peach teams up with Mario along with Rabbid Luigi as the plumber's first two companions. She has shown to be attracted to Mario. During the first trailer, she skips happily towards him only to be interrupted by Rabbid Luigi. Rabbid Peach seems to be jealous of Mario and Peach's relationship, pushing her counterpart aside just to get attention from Mario. Her Instagram profile states that she finds him to be cute. In the cinematic trailer for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, she sneaks up behind Mario to take a selfie with him.[4]
  • Princess Peach: Rabbid Peach first had some hostility towards Peach. In her Instagram profile, she calls the real Peach a fake. Taking her cosplay seriously and jealous of the princess's relationship with Mario, Rabbid Peach and Peach did not start off on good terms. She was willing to push the princess aside just to gain attention from Mario, even glaring at her before the battle was about to begin, much to Mario's frustration. However, the two are still willing to work together, and the hostility came to an end after Peach unveiled a Statue of Rabbid Peach, exciting her and gathering all the heroes together in a selfie. The promotional art shows a friendlier side of the two, as they took a selfie together.
  • Luigi and Yoshi: Rabbid Peach has little interaction with Luigi and Yoshi, but is shown to still work with them and is happy that they joined the group. However, she refused to let Luigi see her selfie photos. In the end, she gathers them and the other heroes together in a group selfie. In a promotional art, she helps Luigi get into shape.
  • Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Yoshi, and Rabbid Cranky: Rabbid Peach interacts with Rabbids Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi the same way she would interact with any of her fellow Rabbids: Happily, playfully, and on occasion aggressively. Out of the three however, she interacts with Rabbid Luigi the most given that he was with her when they started traveling with Mario. She also allowed him to look at her selfies, unlike his counterpart. In the end, she does care about them and was willing to take a group selfie with them and their Super Mario counterparts. With Rabbid Cranky, it's mostly friendly but he does show annoyance at her self-centered nature. He hates it when she steals his stick without his permission, though he is content in her selfies.
  • Beep-0: While he recognized her and Rabbid Luigi to not be corrupted like the other Rabbids, Beep-0 did get frustrated with her when she and Rabbid Luigi didn't help him on the first battle, and instead laughed at his misfortune. During their travels, Beep-0 begins to accept her and the other Rabbids as friends. She also recognizes him as a friend and takes a group selfie with him and the other heroes. He also was with her when they were accidentally sent to DK island.
  • Edge: After Edge first appears, Rabbid Peach instantly shows jealousy towards her.
  • Rabbid Rosalina: Though not much interaction is shown at the start, they work well together during battle. In Barrendale Mesa, Rabbid Peach holds out her hand for a high five from Rabbid Rosalina, who eventually does it, although sluggishly. In the cinematic launch trailer for the game, she takes a picture with Rabbid Rosalina.[5]
  • Bowser: Rabbid Peach and Bowser do not interact much until the ending, when Rabbid Peach, along with Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Luigi, plays with Bowser, much to his annoyance. He eventually forces the Rabbids away with a fireball.
  • Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky: Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky rescued Rabbid Peach and Beep-0 when they ended up on DK island, and have been their main allies since. Rabbid Cranky gets frustrated when Rabbid Peach steals his walking stick for her selfies, but remains goods friends with her. DK also maintains a good relationship with the Rabbid princess, and she shows to be a bit flirty with him, though not as much as she is with Mario. The two were part of a group selfie with her, Beep-0 and Rabbid Kong before the two returned to the Mushroom Kingdom.
  • Rabbid Kong: The two were adversaries during the main story line of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. After his defeat though, Rabbid Peach pushed him off the tower, and he has sense developed a grudge against her. However, Rabbid Kong later develops a crush on Rabbid Peach, and tries to impress her. After defeating him in the DK island adventure, Rabbid Peach apologizes and forms a friendship with him. She even comforted him when she and Beep-0 were returning to the Mushroom Kingdom, and shared a group selfie with him.
  • Rayman: In the teaser trailer for the Rayman DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Mario and Beep-0 were seen checking into a hotel. While checking in, the group meet Rayman for the first time. Rabbid Peach sees him as an enemy, threatening to shoot at him with her Triple-Troll. Rabbid Peach then shows curiosity for Rayman's lack of arms and legs, getting into his personal space. She then gets shoved away by him, and they glare at each other.[6]

Rabbid Peach is thought by some to be self-absorbed due to her dedication to self-portraiture, yet no one is more effective at healing other Heroes, and her self-described "diva personality" belies her sheer offensive power - in particular, an attack that launches a sequence of three powerful sinking shots which have a 100% hit rate versus enemies - even when they're behind Partial Cover!
