Mario Party Superstars:

Cashapult is a 2-vs.-2 coin-collecting minigame found in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party Superstars. The name is a portmanteau of the words "cash" and "catapult," an ancient weapon that sends objects flying when the rope is released.

The differences between day and night in Mario Party 6 are only aesthetic.

Introduction

Both players on one team first stand on clouds. The first player then leaps off their cloud onto a catapult, after which the screen splits in two.

Gameplay

Teams attempt to get coins from the sky by using a catapult as they stand on it. There are 20 coins above the clouds. The player,, who is sent flying tries to collect as many coins as possible. Each player on the team has two attempts to get all the coins as possible. A whistling sound is audible in Mario Party Superstars when players rise and fall.

Ending

After the minigame ends, the team which had got one coin or more will do their winning pose/animation. They do their losing one when they get no coins. Both animations are done in front of the catapult.
