Cog Jog is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 6.
Introduction[edit]
The camera shows the entrance as the competitors come within the room. Spiny Shells are dropped on a cog.
Gameplay[edit]
The objective of the minigame is for the players to get to the other side of the board of spinning gears. The gears differ greatly in size and shape. Every time the Thwomp in the middle of the board pounds, the gears move in the opposite direction. There is also a hard-to-cross shortcut in front of the Thwomp's platform. Players that fall off the gears or hit a Spiny Shell must start from the beginning. Whoever reaches the other side first wins. If neither player reaches the goal within 30 seconds, the minigame ends in a tie.
Ending[edit]
The winner does their winning animation at the goal, while the loser is unseen. If a tie occurs, both players remain where they are and perform their losing poses.
